POP or IMAP: How do I know what type of account I have?
Since all Workspace email plans allow POP, you can always use POP to set up your email. However, with most Workspace plans, you can also use IMAP. Learn about the difference between IMAP and POP.
If you are not sure what kind of plan you have, follow these steps:
- Log into your Site Tech Support account.
- Click Workspace Email.
- If your Email Plan says Free, then you have only have access to POP-enabled email. If it doesn't, then you can use IMAP to set up your email. If you have it, you should use IMAP to set up your email.
- If you need IMAP-enabled email and you don’t have it, you can always upgrade your Workspace plan to Unlimited Business Email.
